After using the Trap‑Alert™ system for several weeks, I am very impressed with the performance and features, but more so with the tangible benefits I receive when using the product. I can plan my daily routes more efficiently knowing ahead of time that I have animals to pick up at specific locations.
If I am notified that traps do not require my attention at certain sites, my time is better spent setting up new jobs or catching up on repair work. On a couple of recent jobs, traps set on the roof were not visible from ground level. The Trap‑Alert™ units notified me when I had to be there and when I did not, saving not only time and mileage, but the additional ladder work that would have been required on non-catch days to comply with daily trap check laws.

The Trap Alert Remote Monitoring System has been valuable in my business. We work with a Conservation Organization being plagued by raccoons. As with all our accounts, it’s important to provide humane, responsible services. The Trap Alert System provides near instantaneous notification of a captured animal. This enables us to remove the animal from the trap site much earlier than normal, thereby preventing heat stress. It seems that very few pieces of equipment have come along recently that have had such a positive impact on the nuisance wildlife control industry as has the Trap-Alert™ system. Our technicians are notified immediately by email and/or text message when a trap has fired, and the system can be set up to send notifications to our customers as well. We recently purchased one of your “Trap-Alert” systems for one of our clients that requested a live animal trap to be placed at their business on a permanent basis. In using the product we have actually made more in that we no longer need to have our service technician show up on site and check the status of the trap daily. Another benefit we found was that we could save our client a significant amount of money as well.
I have to say that the customer service that I have received from Trap-Alert has been the best experience I have ever had. I initially had some difficulty getting the system set up, so I called tech support and they took the time to work things out with me. I that wasn’t enough they have since then regularly called me to insure that the device was operating as it should, and the one time my service technician had let the battery run down on the unit they made sure to call me and make sure that I was aware of the situation. I would highly recommend this unit to any person doing wildlife control I believe it to be a sound investment that will pay for itself many times over.

I was first introduced to the Trap-Alert™ system in January of 2011 at NWCOA’s annual trade show. I immediately knew this was a great product for our industry but was reluctant to purchase because I was concerned that I really wouldn’t use it enough to allow for a full return on my investment. This year I saw the system again and New Frequency had released its version 4 of the product and with the added features in the new product and knowing these guys were here to stay, it was time for me to take the leap. The first time we used the product was for a raccoon job where it took six days for the raccoon to return to the property and make an attempt to go into the open soffits. The job was 43 miles from our office: one way. Trap-Alert™ saved us from traveling 430 miles to do state required trap checks! I trap animals in the New Orleans area. I am dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and complete animal damage control methods in my area. My average trapping job is within a 45 minute driving distance because I can only drive so many miles a day and service my customers’ needs. I have been using the Trap‑Alert™ system for a couple of months now, and frankly I do not know how I did it before! Since using the Trap‑Alert™ units, I have been able to knock off early a couple of days because I did NOT need to check my traps – they had already reported in today! I have also been able to take on additional work as a result of my new found free time.
